Structural Pruning

The most important to the well-being of you and your trees.

Structural pruning encourages trees to grow as they do in the forest: upright with one main trunk and small, well-spaced branches. This helps reduce the chance of your trees splitting or breaking. It is a detailed art based on the understanding of a tree’s biology. Failure to properly prune could damage your property and would surely hurt the tree. Proper pruning is an important part of caring for trees.

Removal

Crane Removal

Cranes Make Tree Removal Safer

While some tree care companies still get by with a chainsaw and a ladder, we at Solid Roots are always looking to do removals safer for our crews and for your property so we own and operate our own crane to assist with tree care and removal.

Cranes help to get the job done faster, more easily, more safely, and the use of a crane is less damaging to the landscape around the removal.

I contacted Sam on Tuesday, the day after the hurricane hit. He came out the same day, had a quote later that evening, and showed up early Wednesday morning. He did a great job and had a great crew. Highly recommended!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sam and the guys at Solid Root Tree Service were fantastic to work with. They were quick to call back and schedule my initial quote, no call center re-routing to deal with. The quote was actually affordable and reasonable. They expertly extracted three trees for me, two of which had to be over 60-70’ tall pines in a challenging lot location; incredible and entertaining to watch! They even used a crane to get one of them, working around our kids’ swing set, and for no up-charge. I would recommend these guys to ANYONE in the Wilmington area. Thanks so much guys!

The crew arrived on time and worked together to complete the project efficiently and safely. Each team member was on task at all times, pitching in to help other team members as needed.

The area was cleaned up completely before they left.

I would definitely recommend this knowledgeable, professional crew.
